Job Description

Protect our global reputation and amplify our voice – so the world knows the story behind our radars.

As our Corporate Communications Manager, you own our global corporate narrative, public relations, and brand stewardship. You work side-by-side with Content Marketing, HR, and senior leadership – building a sharp internal communications rhythm, expanding our media presence in key markets like the US, and keeping our brand identity consistent worldwide. You report to the Head of Marketing, and you're a big part of why our global reputation stays strong as we scale.

What you'll do

  • Corporate narrative and messaging: Own the global corporate communications guidelines and messaging framework. Keep our corporate calendar aligned with Content Marketing to ensure seamless announcements, thought leadership, and executive communications.

  • Global PR and media relations: Lead media engagement by managing our external PR agency and building relationships with priority journalists. Proactively drive visibility around major company milestones, product launches, and key international events, focusing on the US market.

  • Executive positioning and media training: Prepare senior leaders for interviews, keynotes, and speaking opportunities. Provide media training, craft key messages, and position our leadership team as trusted industry experts.

  • Internal communications rhythm: Build and improve information flow between leadership and global teams. Partner closely with HR to deliver engaging internal messaging that reinforces our culture and keeps everyone aligned.

  • Brand stewardship and governance: Serve as the central point of contact for the Robin Radar brand. Maintain strict consistency across brand identity, tone of voice, and corporate assets – including fact sheets, presentations, videos, and templates.

What you bring

5–10+ years of B2B corporate communications or PR experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, or deep tech

  • Strong brand governance experience, keeping visual identity and tone of voice aligned across markets

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time to support key events and media moments

N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.

About Robin Radar

Industry: Defense and Space Manufacturing

Company size: 51-200 employees

We’re Robin Radar Systems, and we have you covered. Robin is a Netherlands-based technology leader in bird and drone radar. Our mission is to provide actionable information that increases safety, for humans and wildlife alike. Our systems are built for accuracy, delivering 360° coverage and early warnings. They empower teams in aviation, ecology, defence and security with reliable updates and alerts of potential hazards. We do that by combining cutting-edge hardware with smart software. Our technologies may be ahead of the pack, but our people make us great. Looking for an innovative adventure that spans the globe? Join ours! https://www.robinradar.com/careers Bird Strike Prevention in Aviation Our bird radar systems monitor and store bird movements around the clock. With MAX, you get 3D, 360° awareness, 365 days a year. As well as bringing awareness to a whole new level, our radars provide key insights, like data trends and activity hotspots, to assess and strengthen strategies and KPIs. Bird Monitoring at Wind Farms Increasingly, permits to build wind farms are given under the pre-condition that bird movements are continuously monitored before, during and after construction. Our 3D avian radars simultaneously detect and log thousands of birds and bats, providing extensive reporting for your wind farm’s smooth development and operation. MAX can even detect the beginning of mass migrations and, if needed, trigger the temporary shutdown of single or groups of turbines. Protect wildlife, minimise downtime. Drone Detection in Critical Environments Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or ‘drones’ bring new opportunities, but also severe safety and security threats. We believe advanced detection is your first line of defence, so our systems are deployable, integrate seamlessly, and provide 360° coverage, even on the move. Our purpose-built drone detection radar, IRIS, can detect, track, and automatically distinguish birds from drones.
