Job Purpose and Impact

Workplace Manager job implements moderately complex front of house and occupant facing services across corporate office environments. This job executes reception, conference centers, amenities, move coordination and on-site vendor services to support a consistent and high-quality workplace experience. This job applies service standards, identifies and resolves service issues and supports employee engagement and operational continuity within leased or multi-tenant spaces.

Due to the operational requirements of the role, this position is fully office-based and requires regular on-site attendance - Schiphol office.

Key Accountabilities

  • OCCUPANT EXPERIENCE & FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICES: Coordinates moderately complex front of house operations including reception, conference centers and workplace amenities to support consistent and high-quality occupant experience, addressing service issues and resolving operational challenges.
  • SERVICE DELIVERY COORDINATION: Executes tenant services such as space moves, event support and workplace services to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, identifying and resolving related service delivery issues.
  • VENDOR SERVICES MANAGEMENT: Monitors vendor performance for front house and workplace services to ensure adherence to service level agreements and hospitality standards.
  • SERVICE QUALITY MANAGEMENT: Monitors service performance metrics, user feedback and operational indicators to identify issues and support continuous improvement.
  • WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE: Implements initiatives that enhance employee engagement and workplace experience, including events, amenities and service programs.
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Tracks expenses, reviews invoices and identifies efficiency opportunities to support budget adherence and planning.
  • OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Partners with cross functional teams and vendors to implement workplace changes, move activities and service continuity planning, identifying and resolving operational challenges to ensure minimal disruption to occupants.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred finance or procurement) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in facilities management (office and cleaning services, workplace management, security).
  • Background working within international, matrix organizations.
  • Knowledge of project management and procurement (including compliance and vendor management).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Readiness to work fully onsite at the Schiphol office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in team coordination.
  • Catering and vendor management.
  • Ability to organize office events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • SAP knowledge.
