Finance Solution Architect
Key Skills
Job Description
About Us: At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
As a Solution Architect, you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Finance capabilities, helping the organization evolve its products, services, operating model, and business processes into a scalable, customer-centric ecosystem that supports our global growth ambitions.
Operating at the intersection of business strategy, finance, technology, and operations, you ensure that strategic objectives are translated into cohesive business capabilities, value streams, and transformation roadmaps. Your focus extends beyond today’s operating model—you define how our finance organization, payment ecosystem, and digital capabilities will evolve over the coming years, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and customer value.
You bring clarity to complex business challenges by developing enterprise-wide business architecture, future-state operating models, capability maps, and strategic transformation blueprints. Your work enables executive leadership to make informed investment decisions and prioritize initiatives that create measurable business outcomes.

You are a strategic advisor, trusted partner, and change leader who connects business units, finance, product, data, operations, and technology around a shared vision. You have the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives and executive-level insights, influencing stakeholders ranging from senior leadership and product executives to finance teams and transformation programs.
You understand that transformation is achieved through execution, not just vision. You combine long-term strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery, ensuring that architecture is translated into tangible initiatives, AI-enabled capabilities, and enterprise-wide programs that deliver measurable value.
Your work helps modernize our global finance organization while enabling scalable FinTech capabilities, intelligent automation, and AI-driven decision making that enhance both operational excellence and customer experience.

Drive AI adoption across finance and business operations by identifying high-value use cases, embedding intelligent automation, and enabling data-driven decision making.
Develop executive-ready business models, capability maps, value stream maps, and strategic visualizations that simplify complex business challenges.
Ensure business architecture is embedded throughout the portfolio lifecycle, from strategic planning through program execution and value realization.
Monitor industry trends across AI, FinTech, digital payments, travel technology, and enterprise transformation, translating market developments into actionable business opportunities.
Establish strong stakeholder relationships across executive leadership, finance, product, engineering, operations, and transformation teams, aligning diverse perspectives toward common business outcomes.
