Job Description
Are you a student who doesn’t want to sit still, but instead wants to gain relevant work experience in a dynamic laboratory environment? For our project office in Barneveld, we are looking for working students at short notice to temporarily strengthen our team.
Do you have a background in life sciences, chemistry, or another lab-related field? That’s a plus. However, if you are studying something else but have an interest in process-oriented and precise work, we also encourage you to apply.
What will you do?
As a working student within the project office, you will support the coordination and processing of research assignments. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth workflow between clients, logistics, and the laboratory.
Your tasks will include:
- Registering and checking incoming assignments and samples
- Verifying completeness and identifying discrepancies
- Processing data and results in systems
- Supporting the release and preparation of samples for shipment
- Coordinating with colleagues in logistics and the laboratory
- Contributing ideas for process improvements
You will work at the intersection of administration, logistics, and content—an ideal combination if you want to understand how laboratory processes work in practice.
Qualifications
Who are you?
- You are currently a student (HBO/WO or MBO level 4)
- You are available for at least 2 days per week, but more days is preferred
- You work accurately and in a structured way
- You are stress-resistant and can switch between tasks effectively
- You have a good command of the Dutch language
- You have an affinity with laboratory work or a life sciences background (a plus, not required)
- You are proactive and not afraid to ask questions
