Role (part time or full time) As Our Intern, You'll Play a Crucial Role In Market research: Lead sector analysis, understanding market trends, and keeping abreast of technological advancements. Investment strategy and management: Assessing potential investments through comprehensive due diligence and managing an ever-evolving portfolio. Operational improvements: Projects that enhance the internal organisation ensuring best in class investment operations. Qualifications Qualifications, key skills and competencies Currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD with a focus on physics, photonics, electrical engineering, or other scientific disciplines. Previous internship experience or a demonstrated interest in deep technology startups, venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or strategy consulting. Able to start in Q1, exact starting date is flexible. Available for a minimum of 4 months (full time). Required Skills Fluent in both Dutch and English, both in verbal and written communication. A strong foundation in science, technology, or artificial intelligence is considered a distinct asset. Competencies Robust analytical abilities. Ability to adapt to dynamic scenarios, such as changing investment performance, financing needs, and varying investor groups. Effective multitasking across multiple assignments under tight deadlines. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates must be currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in a scientific discipline such as physics, photonics, or electrical engineering. Fluency in both Dutch and English is mandatory, along with a strong interest in deep tech and venture capital.
