Electrical Tester / Commissioning Engineer — Data Centre Project, Netherlands Location: Netherlands (on-site) Sector: Data Centre Construction & Commissioning Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical Tester / Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre project in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for carrying out QA/QC live and dead testing on LV and MV panels, ensuring all electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance before handover. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional to work on a large-scale, mission-critical data centre build, alongside an experienced commissioning team. Key Responsibilities Carry out dead testing (insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, earth loop impedance) on LV and MV electrical panels and systems Carry out live testing and functional testing of LV/MV switchgear, panels, and associated equipment Complete QA/QC documentation, test sheets, and inspection records in line with project standards Identify, report, and help resolve any defects or non-conformances found during testing Support the wider commissioning team through FAT, SAT, and integrated systems testing Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety procedures and relevant electrical standards Liaise with site engineers, commissioning managers, and client representatives throughout the testing process Maintain accurate records to support project handover and close-out documentation Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Tester or Commissioning Engineer, ideally on data centre or other mission-critical projects Strong hands-on experience with LV and MV panel testing, both live and dead Solid understanding of QA/QC processes and test documentation Good working knowledge of relevant Dutch/European electrical standards Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and reporting Good communication skills, with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary site team Willingness to work on-site in the Netherlands for the duration of the project

Core Responsibilities

Perform live and dead QA/QC testing on LV and MV panels to ensure safety and compliance before handover. Document test results and collaborate with the commissioning team to resolve defects during FAT and SAT processes.

Requirements

Requires proven experience as an Electrical Tester or Commissioning Engineer, specifically within data centres or mission-critical environments. Must have strong hands-on expertise in LV/MV panel testing and a solid understanding of European electrical standards.
