Role Description The Administrateur is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Groningen Area. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial administration, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Administrateur will also assist with payroll data, coordinate with external accountants or auditors, and maintain organized digital and paper records. Collaboration with project managers and leadership to provide clear financial insights and support decision-making is an important part of this role. Qualifications Strong skills in financial administration and bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, particularly Excel, for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis. Ability to prepare financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and local regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, management, and external partners. Relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration, or a comparable field; practical experience in a similar role is strongly preferred. Comfort working on-site in an industrial or construction-related environment and an interest in the infrastructure and concrete sector. Integrity, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
