Job Description

Joining Longchamp means becoming part of a world-renowned family business with over 70 years of craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation. To strengthen our presence at our Bijenkorf Amstelveen concession, we are recruiting a Concession Manager. Reporting to the Area Manager Netherlands, you will build lasting client relationships through clienteling and personalised events, while leading a close-knit team and owning the full commercial and operational running of the concession. By joining our team, you will help perpetuate our heritage of excellence and support ambitious, innovative retail projects. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Client Development & CRM At the heart of a premium, relationship-driven boutique, your first priority is deepening our bond with a loyal, international clientele. Build and sustain long-lasting client relationships, turning first purchases into lasting loyalty through attentive, personalised follow-up. Design and host client invitations, private appointments, and in-store events that make each client feel recognised and valued. Drive retention and reactivation using clienteling tools, with a genuine focus on the local and international community that defines Amstelveen. Elevate every visit beyond the iconic Le Pliage line, sharing leather-goods expertise, craftsmanship stories, and collection heritage to deepen brand affinity. 2. Team Leadership & Development You lead a small, newly forming team and set the tone for how it grows. Guide, coach, and motivate a close-knit team of Sales Advisors, nurturing both an experienced advisor and an early-career talent. Organise scheduling and daily priorities to ensure seamless coverage across a 7/7 operation, including Thursday late-night shopping. Set clear, observable performance expectations and give regular, constructive feedback that helps each advisor progress. Foster a supportive, respectful team culture where service excellence and shared success come naturally. 3. Commercial, Stock & Visual Merchandising Ownership As the person accountable on the floor, you own the concession's commercial results and its full operational integrity. Take accountability for the concession's commercial performance, translating targets into clear daily actions and following the key indicators that drive them. Own stock operations end to end: deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and omnichannel fulfilment (Ship-from-Store, Click & Collect) through CEGID. Own visual merchandising execution, presenting the collections to Longchamp's premium standards and keeping the concession beautiful and commercial at once. Oversee after-sales and repair follow-up, ensuring every client request is handled with care and traceability. Maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with the De Bijenkorf host store, representing Longchamp with professionalism and brand pride. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Proven experience in premium or luxury retail, including team leadership or a strong step toward it. A genuine passion for client relationships and clienteling: you build loyalty, not just transactions. Confidence leading, coaching, and developing a small team while owning day-to-day operations yourself. Commercial acumen and comfort with retail systems (CEGID or similar), stock processes, and performance indicators. A good eye for visual merchandising and product presentation. Fluency in Dutch is required within De Bijenkorf; strong English is essential, and additional languages are a valuable asset given our international clientele Full availability, including weekends and Thursday late-night shopping. WHAT WE OFFER Benefits package including transport reimbursement and well-being initiatives. Generous staff discounts across our collections.
