Job Description
Saga is a legal innovation company on a mission to remove the friction between legal expertise and real-world impact, so lawyers can focus on what matters the most: people, ethics, and impact. Founded in Norway and built for the legal profession from day one, we integrate with local legal sources across multiple jurisdictions and are currently available in 12 languages. In just 18 months, we've grown to 80+ employees and 5,000+ users across 20+ countries - with market leadership in Norway and The Netherlands, and active expansion across Europe. We believe technology shouldn't replace legal reasoning, but strengthen it - so the law can work as it's meant to: aligned, accountable, and capable of delivering justice for everyone. As we grow, we're looking for someone at an unusual and valuable intersection: a legal professional ready to step into thought leadership, marketing, growth, and technology - and help us speak credibly to legal professionals while opening doors into the communities where they already gather. Your role as a Legal Growth Manager This role could be a great fit if you're a legal professional - a jurist, paralegal, or lawyer - who's beginning to imagine applying your expertise beyond traditional legal practice. Maybe you find yourself drawn to technology, curious about marketing and growth, and excited by the idea of using your legal knowledge and network in a completely new way. You'll be the first Legal Growth Manager at Saga to bridge law, technology, and marketing. Working closely with Legal Engineering, Sales, and Product teams as part of the Marketing & Growth team, you'll build relationships across the legal community, create content that resonates with legal professionals, and position Saga as a trusted voice in legal innovation. Success comes from building trust, growing meaningful relationships, and helping more lawyers across Europe discover a better way to work. What you'll be doing Build and nurture relationships with lawyers, bar associations, alumni networks, and legal innovators across The Netherlands and beyond Create thought leadership and educational content that resonates with legal professionals and strengthens Saga's position in the market Represent Saga at legal events and conferences, spotting new partnership and networking opportunities Act as the voice of the legal customer - bringing market insights and customer feedback into Marketing, Product, and Legal Engineering Support go-to-market, customer education, and product marketing alongside Sales and Marketing Build a scalable community and advocacy program that drives awareness, credibility, and long-term growth What you'll bring A legal education and practical legal experience as jurist, paralegal, legal counsel or lawyer, with genuine interest in technology and the future of legal work An active presence in the Dutch legal community - associations, alumni networks, committees, or events Strong communication and storytelling skills - you make legal and technical ideas clear and engaging An entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to build relationships and create opportunities from scratch Practical AI fluency - you already use AI tools in your work and are eager to experiment and learn Fluency in Dutch (native-level speaker) and English Our team & culture We're a team of lawyers, engineers, designers, and builders across multiple countries, with a startup mindset - flexible, fast-moving, and focused on what matters. We don't believe in rigid structures or unnecessary processes, but we do believe in discipline: showing up consistently, following through, and holding ourselves to a high standard. Outside of work, many of us are active in sports - running, skiing, hiking - not as a mandate, but because we're drawn to the same mindset sport builds: consistency, resilience, and a long-term view. If you thrive in a flat, high-ownership environment, you'll feel right at home. Why join Saga A salary up to €5,500 gross per month (all-inclusive, based on a 40-hour week), depending on experience and skill set A rare opportunity to pivot from law into tech and marketing - with real support and mentorship to make the transition The chance to shape the foundation of one of Europe's fastest-growing legal innovation companies, serving legal professionals worldwide Autonomy to build, experiment, and shape initiatives with direct impact on strategy and client success A way to use your legal expertise and network for real business impact An annual learning budget for courses, conferences, and development An international team that moves fast, thinks clearly, and builds with care If all this sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
