Team Lead Assembly | High-Tech Mechatronics At Frencken Mechatronics Europe, we develop and assemble complex high-tech systems and modules for the semiconductor, medical, and analytical industries. Your role As Team Lead Assembly, you are responsible for the daily coordination and performance of an assembly team. You combine people leadership with a strong understanding of production and ensure that products are assembled safely, efficiently, on time, and according to our high-quality standards. What you'll do Lead, coach, and support a team of assembly technicians Coordinate daily production activities and priorities Ensure targets for quality, delivery, safety, and productivity are achieved Monitor workload, capacity, and progress on the shop floor Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Identify production issues and coordinate solutions Drive continuous improvement and encourage a First Time Right mindset Support the development and training of team members Ensure procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements are followed What you bring MBO+/HBO working and thinking level in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably high-tech/mechatronics Previous experience leading, coordinating, or coaching a production team Strong people and communication skills Proactive and solution-oriented mindset Comfortable working with production planning and KPIs Good command of English; Dutch mandatory/preferred What we offer Competitive salary under CAO Metalektro 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days Bonus scheme Challenging high-tech projects Development and growth opportunities Informal and collaborative working environment Ready to lead a team that builds high-tech systems where precision matters? Core Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily coordination and performance of an assembly team to ensure products are built safely and efficiently. Leads and coaches technicians while collaborating with Planning, Engineering, and Quality departments to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Requires a technical education level (MBO+/HBO) in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering with experience in high-tech production environments. Must have previous experience leading or coaching a team and proficiency in English, with Dutch being preferred.
