Job Description

You will deliver working SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions by implementing and customizing TM modules, adding required features and resolving production issues, at a leading international industrial distributor of steel pipes, valves and fittings. You will work with the global IT integration team and report to the IT Project Manager. After 12 months, success looks like stable, successful go-live and production-ready TM processes across core transport lanes and documented customizations that reduce manual interventions and recurring incidents. What you will do Deliver end-to-end SAP TM implementation activities and deliverables for assigned scopes, including customizing and adding TM features to meet business requirements. Troubleshoot and debug TM issues rapidly to minimise disruption to transport planning and execution processes. Translate business requirements into TM configuration and solution design and collaborate with integration teams to connect TM with the core ERP landscape. Support testing, cutover and go-live activities and provide post-go-live support to ensure stable operations. Produce clear technical documentation of customizations, configurations and known-issue resolutions. What you bring At least 5 years of solid, hands-on SAP TM implementation experience, with evidence of completed implementation projects and delivered custom features. Proven experience in TM configuration, debugging and troubleshooting in live environments. Practical experience integrating SAP TM with SAP ECC or S/4HANA landscapes and working with transport planning/execution business processes. Ability to translate business needs into configuration and technical change, and to document solutions clearly. English language skills sufficient for international project collaboration. Nice to have Prior experience in distribution, wholesale or industrial logistics environments. Experience with performance tuning or SAP TM optimisation projects. You will thrive in this role if You are pragmatic and focused on delivering business outcomes rather than theoretical designs. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced rollout environment with multiple stakeholders and integration challenges. You prefer clear ownership of deliverables, follow-through on issues and producing durable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.

Requirements

Requires at least 5 years of hands-on SAP TM implementation experience with a proven track record in configuration and debugging. Proficiency in integrating TM with ECC or S/4HANA and strong English communication skills are essential.
