Job Description

The HR Administration, Learning & Development Manager for the Netherlands will be responsible for overseeing HR administration, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, driving the development and learning initiatives. This position will play a crucial role in standardizing HR processes and supporting a cohesive HR strategy in collaboration with the Head of People & Organisation. What Is Expected From You HR Administration and Compliance for the Netherlands & Czech Republic Oversee HR Operations: Supervise all HR administrative processes, including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits management, contract administration, and employee records. Legal Compliance and Audit: Ensure HR practices comply with national regulations and labour laws in each country, working closely with legal teams and conducting regular audits to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processes and in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws; manage benefits programs and ensure their relevance to attract and retain talent. Learning and Development Talent Development Strategy: Develop and implement training programs that support the growth of employees and align with business objectives. Onboarding and Integration: Manage onboarding programs that effectively integrate new employees, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported. Performance Management and Coaching: Support managers in implementing performance reviews, setting objectives, and providing feedback; offer coaching to ensure continuous development and improvement. Identify Training Needs and Solutions: Regularly assess skills gaps and development needs, proposing targeted training solutions (internal or external) to address these. Project Management and Process Improvement Project Control and Monitoring: Lead HR projects for the Netherlands and Czech Republic setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and monitoring their progress to ensure success. Process Optimization and Standardization: Identify and streamline HR processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase transparency across countries. Data Management and Reporting: Ensure HR data is accurately collected, managed, and reported; utilize dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights to the Head of People & Organisation and guide decision-making. Reporting, Dashboarding, and KPI Monitoring KPI Development and Tracking: Establish, track, and report on key HR performance indicators (KPIs) across countries, providing comprehensive reporting when requested. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use HR data to identify trends, support strategic initiatives, and propose improvements. Company General Use Quarterly and Annual Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on HR metrics, compliance, and learning & development outcomes for presentation to the CPLO and other senior stakeholders. Team Leadership and Development Management and Mentoring: Directly supervise the HR team in the Netherlands Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local and international managers, Talent Acquisition, HSE, and Finance to ensure alignment of HR practices with business needs. Work closely with the HR Manager in Belgium to ensure alignment of HR practices and initiatives across both countries. Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of innovation and learning within the HR team, enabling them to improve processes and deliver high-impact results What You Offer Education Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field Basic understanding of Dutch employment law, employee lifecycle processes, and absence management Familiarity with HR systems and Microsoft Office. Required Competencies & Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive and eager to learn. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. Excellent command of English Good command of Dutch is an asset. Requirements
