Role Overview We are offering an internship opportunity for a curious and analytical individual to join Yusen's Corporate Sustainability team and support Green Solutions through market intelligence, regulatory monitoring and future trend analysis. In this role, you will research sustainability regulations, market developments, emerging technologies and competitor activities that shape the future of low-carbon logistics. Your insights will help Yusen identify risks, opportunities and strategic directions for Green Solutions. This internship provides exposure to sustainability policy, industry trends and decarbonisation developments within a global logistics organisation. Key Responsibilities Market & Regulatory Monitoring Monitor sustainability regulations and frameworks, including CSRD, CBAM, EU ETS, ETS2, SBTi and other relevant policy developments. Industry & Technology Research Track developments related to IMO and ICAO regulations, voluntary carbon markets, alternative fuels and emerging decarbonisation technologies. Competitor & Market Intelligence Conduct competitor research and monitor industry developments to identify trends, risks and opportunities relevant to Green Solutions. Future Opportunities Assessment Research future market opportunities, incentive schemes, grants and sustainability programmes that may support Green Solutions expansion. Market Insights & Reporting Translate complex market information into concise reports and actionable insights for internal stakeholders. What You Will Bring To The Role Currently enrolled in a MBA or Master's programme in Sustainability, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Strong analytical and research skills, with an interest in sustainability and market developments. Curious about emerging trends, technologies and business opportunities. Able to translate complex information into clear and concise insights. Interested in process improvement, innovation and continuous learning. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of research assignments. Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Fluent in English. Requirements
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an MBA or Master's programme in Sustainability, Business, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and fluency in English are required.
