Business Data Analyst (Contract) Global Data Analytics Co Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid) Role Summary Global Data Analytics Co is hiring a Business Data Analyst to support the delivery of an in-flight initiative, ensuring technical delivery translates into clear business outcomes. You will work across business and technology stakeholders in a global delivery model, driving clarity, alignment, and pace while maintaining quality. What You’ll Do - Own and drive analysis for an in-flight project to accelerate delivery while protecting quality and outcomes - Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and maintain alignment from discovery through delivery - Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops to clarify scope, priorities, decisions, and ownership - Produce high-quality documentation and analysis artefacts suitable for mixed business and technical audiences - Partner with global teams to manage dependencies, handoffs, and expectations across time zones and functions - Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly, ensuring decisions are documented and understood - Keep delivery focused on measurable value and customer impact, connecting work delivered to business benefits Must-Have Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role delivering data​/​analytics initiatives - Strong logistics domain background with the ability to engage credibly with logistics stakeholders - Excellent Dutch and English communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work hybrid in Amsterdam - Demonstrated success working in a global delivery model with distributed teams and stakeholders - Tech stack agnostic mindset with strong analytical thinking and pragmatic problem solving Preferred Qualifications - Experience improving delivery speed and quality in complex, multi-stakeholder environments - Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing without authority - Experience working in environments where customer feedback and delivery metrics are key success measures What Success Looks Like (Early & Ongoing) - First days: you ramp up quickly, establish credibility with stakeholders, and communicate clearly and proactively - First weeks: you bring structure to requirements and delivery, reduce ambiguity, and help the team move faster with fewer rework cycles - Ongoing: delivery speed and quality improve, stakeholders stay aligned, and customer feedback trends positively Selection Criteria - Dutch and English fluency; logistics domain experience; ability to work hybrid in Amsterdam - Evidence of accelerating delivery while maintaining quality in a global delivery model - Breadth and depth across business analysis, data​/​analytics delivery, stakeholder facilitation, and structured communication - Strong examples of credibility, engagement, and clear communication with senior and cross-functional stakeholders Equal Opportunity Employer Global Data Analytics Co is an equal opportunity employer.
