Experience with Styled-Components or CSS-in-JS. - Strong TypeScript knowledge, including components, props, hooks, generics, and discriminated unions. - Experience writing Jest and React Testing Library tests. - Strong feature scoping and decomposition skills. - Proficiency with Git and team-based Git workflows, including branches, rebases, merge conflicts, diffs, and clean commit histories. - Ability to conduct effective code reviews. - Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills. - Comfortable using AI coding agents such as Cursor or Claude Code. - Knowledge of frontend performance, including bundle size, render cost, memoization, and Core Web Vitals. - Understanding of accessibility fundamentals, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and focus management. - Ability to mentor, pair with, and unblock junior developers. ## Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with Jira for ticket management. - Experience with Figma, including reading design specifications and identifying discrepancies with a component library. - Proficiency with GitLab, including merge requests, pipelines, and review workflows. -
