Job Description
The Technical - Electricians Department onboard Allseas’ vessels is responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel's electrical systems and equipment. This team of skilled electricians ensures the reliable operation of power distribution networks, lighting systems, communication systems, and control panels. They conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement preventive maintenance to prevent disruptions. Your role Carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems associated with advanced fieldjoint coating equipment. Support coating qualification campaigns by isolating, reconnecting, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment before and after coating activities. Support fault-finding and troubleshooting activities on electrical components and control systems during yard activities and on the projects/vessels. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules and work instructions. Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical equipment before mobilization. Support vessel refits, upgrades, and yard projects as assigned. Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and work reports. Maintain a safe and organized working environment in line with company HSE requirements. Work closely with the Fieldjoint coating, Equipment services, Warehouse, QC, and the vessel teams to maximize operational readiness. What we expect from you An MBO Level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Technology, Marine Engineering, or a similar technical discipline. Relevant electrical experience in a maritime, offshore, industrial, or shipbuilding environment. Knowledge of PLC programming is considered an advantage. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings. A proactive and hands-on approach to solving technical problems. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Good command of the English language. Requirements
