Job Description As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will support maintenance, engineering, and project activities within a modern manufacturing environment. You will act as the electrical expert, lead electrical safety initiatives, support equipment upgrades, and contribute to the successful delivery of capital projects. Responsibilities Provide electrical expertise to maintenance and project teams. Act as Installation Responsible Person (IV) and oversee electrical safety compliance. Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and CAPEX projects. Manage electrical inspections in line with NEN 3140 and NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1. Review electrical modifications and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot complex electrical and equipment-related issues. Develop test protocols, technical assessments, and engineering documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Automation, QA, Validation, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing or operations. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and Dutch electrical safety regulations. Experience as an appointed IV under NEN 3140. Experience in project engineering and CAPEX projects. GMP or other regulated industry experience is preferred. Fluent in English and Dutch. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
