Due to growth of the finance team as a result of successful sales results, we are looking for a Finance Team Lead to manage a team of 5-8 Project Controllers and who reports to the Finance Head of the Business Unit. This role requires a strong affinity with financial and commercial topics, as well as experience in controlling the financial aspects of international projects. It offers the opportunity to lead and further develop a team of Project Controllers while contributing to successful project and business outcomes. Success in this position is driven by a combination of people leadership capabilities and a solid project controlling background in an international environment. A good understanding of tax, legal and financial topics, together with the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, is essential. Day to Day business Allocate resources to projects and optimize capacity of the team Support and coach your team on complex topics Be involved in complex bids and projects, partially you also act as the senior Project Controller in the sales phase Monitor the progress of the projects and with your team prepare the monthly project reviews Make sure that the financial books and records of the projects are always compliant in line with reporting standards Initiate and contribute to process optimalization initiatives Continuously work on development of the team with a special focus on the team members with a junior profile Your background Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you are driven to achieve team, project and business goals. You enjoy supporting, coaching and developing your team members. Your practical, hands-on mindset is complemented by strong communication skills, attention to detail and the flexibility to adapt in a changing environment. Transparency, commercial awareness and a proactive attitude help you make an impact and bring people along. Requirements
Candidates must hold a master or bachelor degree in Business Administration or Economics and possess at least 10 years of experience in Project Controlling. Proficiency in SAP R/3, IFRS, and English is required, alongside strong leadership and communication capabilities.
