As a CNC Programmer at Bayards Aluminium Solutions, you will be responsible for programming and preparing machining operations on our advanced production equipment. You will work with 5-axis gantry milling machines, 5-axis profile machining centres, and plate processing equipment, playing a key role throughout the production process. Programming is your field of expertise. Using technical drawings, specifications, machine software, and Catia, you determine the most efficient machining strategies. You translate designs into reliable CNC programs and ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your role goes beyond programming alone. You act as an important link between work preparation and production and actively contribute to process improvements. Your Responsibilities Include Programming 5-axis CNC milling machines, profile machining centres, and plate processing machines. Analysing technical drawings and product specifications. Creating and optimizing CNC programs using machine-specific software and Catia. Determining efficient machining strategies and production methods. Preparing work for production. Monitoring materials, drawings, and production schedules. Supporting production teams with technical questions. Coordinating with colleagues in production, project management, and estimating. Identifying and implementing improvements in quality, efficiency, and lead times. Contributing to a streamlined and successful production flow. Who are you? A technical professional with an eye for detail who enjoys combining CNC programming with work preparation and process optimization. You have completed a technical vocational education (MBO or equivalent). You have extensive experience in CNC programming. You have experience in a manufacturing environment. You have experience with work preparation. You can read and interpret technical drawings. Experience with Catia or similar CAD/CAM software is an advantage. You work accurately and think in solutions. You communicate effectively and work well with different departments. You are willing to work shifts when required. What do we offer?
