Job Description

About The Role We're looking for a talented and curious Design Intern to join our Amsterdam studio for a 3-6 month paid internship. You'll learn alongside experienced designers while contributing to live client projects, developing the creative confidence, practical skills and experience that will help you build a career in world-class design. From brand identities and digital experiences to motion, interaction and emerging technologies, you'll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative studio while learning from some of the industry's best. We're looking for outstanding creatives. Strong design fundamentals are the foundation, but we also love people who bring something a little different to the team. It's often those additional interests, perspectives and creative pursuits that make our strongest teams even stronger. What Your Day Might Look Like Contributing to the development of brand identities, visual systems and digital experiences Experimenting with cutting edge emerging creative tools and AI as part of the design process Exploring fresh ideas through sketching, prototyping and visual storytelling Creating layouts, typography, presentations and digital content with support from experienced designers Contributing to motion, interaction and campaign work across a variety of projects Collaborating with designers across brand, digital, industrial design, CMF and strategy Taking part in workshops, research and testing sessions Bringing your own creative interests and perspectives into project work Supporting wider studio projects and day-to-day activities while continuing to learn and develop Presenting your project work in internal team meetings Who We'd Like To Find Since opening six years ago, our Amsterdam studio has grown from four to fifteen by finding the right people – people that don’t only slot right into our studio culture, but bring something incredible to it. This Role Calls For Someone Who Brings Big ideas — As a studio we work across visual, verbal, 3Dimensional and digital experiences – but the big idea is always the most important part of what we do. You're curious, enjoy exploring different ways to solve problems, and are keen to contribute ideas as part of the creative process. Strong graphic sensitivity — You have an eye for typography, composition, layout and visual communication, with a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, craft and attention to detail. Embraces Variety — One of our strengths is the variety of clients and projects that come through our doors. We're looking for someone who enjoys working across different types of projects, collaborating with people from different disciplines and learning new ways of thinking. AI-native — You're curious about how AI is changing creative work and already use it as part of your process. Whether it's prompting, rapid exploration, generating ideas or learning new tools, you're excited by emerging technologies and thoughtful about how they can enhance creativity – not replace it. Something unexpected — Alongside your design skills, we'd love to see what else you bring. Whether it's motion, interaction design, photography, filmmaking, AI experimentation, illustration, creative coding, writing, music or something we've never considered before, we want to see what makes you uniquely you. Specifically, You’ll Have To currently be studying a Visual Communication, Graphic Design or related design course A portfolio that demonstrates experimentation paired with excellent design fundamentals, while also giving us a glimpse into what makes you creatively unique. We want to see not only what you can do, but what you could bring to our studio. Confidence using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite Great attention to detail and visual craft Strong typography, composition and visual communication skills A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for learning Strong communication and presentation skills The right to work in the Netherlands What We Offer People mean the world to us. That includes looking after our own, with things like: Global clients and world-class work A competitive internship fee Training, support and personal career development A unique, inspiring working environment filled with incredible, like minded people A flexible working pattern, with a minimum of four days a week in our Amsterdam studio Apply for the job Sound interesting?
