Brand & Marketing Specialist
Key Skills
Job Description
At BYBORRE® we're looking for a Brand & Marketing Specialist to join our team. Brand & Marketing Specialist Location: Amsterdam FTE (40h/week) Application deadline: October 15th 2026 Start date: October/November 2026 About BYBORRE® There is nothing in life we use more than textiles, yet the journey behind them is rarely questioned. At BYBORRE®, we're on a mission to change that: merging the physical and digital worlds of textile creation to unlock material innovation and build a transparent, responsible supply chain. From our own knitting lab in Amsterdam, we create responsible knitting textiles working with brands, architects, designers and end consumers to prove that responsible and custom textiles can be a game changer. It's a movement to challenge the norms of the industry, and we invite you to be part of it. About The Role As Brand & Marketing Specialist at BYBORRE®, you will be the creative compass for our brand. The person who shapes and executes brand and marketing strategy but just as importantly, you will set the creative tone for the work our team produces, giving hands-on direction to keep everything coherent, aesthetically sharp and on-brand. This role is perfect for someone passionate about crafting impactful campaigns and activations that bring our brand to life across diverse channels. From social media to event planning, SEO, and campaign coordination, you'll ensure every marketing initiative aligns with BYBORRE®'s brand and goals. We need someone who is ready to get up to speed fast, who is a hands-on brand and marketing strategist with a design eye that resonates deeply with BYBORRE®’s customers of today and tomorrow. You bring knowledge of the design world and a network within it and know how to put those connections to work for the brand. It's a highly collaborative position, closely tied to our Commercial, Product, and Operations Teams. You won't be managing a team, but you will be the brand reference point for the marketing work that goes out the door. What You Will Be Doing On a day-to-day basis, you will cover: Marketing strategy development: Turn BYBORRE®’s established brand fundamentals into actionable B2B marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, traffic, and conversions, while aligning all efforts with BYBORRE®’s long-term growth goals and brand messaging. Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and coordination: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of GTM initiatives, working closely with BYBORRE®’s customers on joint product launches. You will ensure seamless communication and execution to maximize impact. Content strategy and execution: Develop and execute content strategies while maintaining an elaborate content calendar for BYBORRE®’s digital channels. You’ll work hands-on alongside a junior content creator and junior brand designer to produce engaging, on-brand content that engages target audiences and drives measurable results. Project management: Manage the full lifecycle of key marketing projects and events, from strategic planning to hands-on execution. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with overarching business goals, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. You get involved: checking people in at an event one night, presenting brand strategy to a shareholder the next. Nice to have — not a must, but a definite plus: SEO & SEA optimization: Lead SEO and SEA efforts, managing both organic and paid campaigns to maximize brand reach, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads. You’ll apply data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaigns. Marketing automation and data analytics: Implement marketing automation strategies to segment audiences, nurture leads, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). You will analyze performance data to refine strategies, optimize workflows, and improve marketing effectiveness. About The Team Be part of a close-knit and international team (>25 people) in Amsterdam. Mix of experts in different fields (knit engineers, textile designers, in-house digital team and more). As Brand & Marketing Strategist you’ll be coordinating a Junior Marketing Specialist, Junior Brand Visual Designer and Junior Event Manager, and working closely with our Commercial, Product and Operations Teams as well as with our Brand & Communications Advisor . You will report to Mijke, Chief Executive Officer. Skills And Experience What we're looking for in the ideal candidate. Not all of these are must haves, so please take the leap to get in touch even if you don't feel you meet all criteria. You thrive in a fast-moving environment and are energised by the pace and ambiguity of a scale-up. Highly structured and detail-oriented in your approach. Capable of working autonomously across multiple priorities, taking initiative to problem-solve, and delivering on agreed timelines. Excellent written and spoken communication skills; impeccable spelling, grammar, and attention to detail. The ability to think beyond the obvious to identify and act on opportunities, a flexible mindset, steady patience, and an optimistic, problem-solving approach. A reliable, enthusiastic team player with a demonstrated ability to work well collectively. Understanding of the industry and a passion for design. Great people skills and a service-first mindset, allowing for effective communication with a broad range of contacts. Experience as a multi-stakeholder project lead (eg events management, strategy planning, data analysis) You have an intuitive feel for what "on-brand" looks like and you're comfortable giving clear creative feedback. Plenty of self-motivation and a can-do spirit Benefits Work at a globally focused, innovative scale-up that’s changing the textile industry. Being part of an international team of specialists in different fields. Being part of something bigger, an opportunity to make a positive impact with your work.
