# Java Engineer ## About the Role Salt Digital Recruitment is hiring a **Java Engineer** for a client based in Amsterdam. This role focuses on developing and maintaining software applications using modern development frameworks and engineering best practices. The position can be performed **remotely from within Europe**. The successful candidate will have strong experience with **Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL and/or NoSQL databases**, along with experience in automated testing, scalable system design, and software architecture.
