The Role: As our Back-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for architecting and building the core of Muze’s infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the front-end team and founder to create a high-performance, real-time backend that scales from MVP to millions of users. If you love building efficient, scalable, and low-latency APIs, working with Go, GraphQL, and gRPC, and solving complex engineering challenges, this is your opportunity. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable, high-performance backend using Go (Golang). Build real-time, event-driven services using GraphQL and gRPC. Optimize data fetching and caching strategies to deliver lightning-fast responses. Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers to design APIs that power an engaging user experience. Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues (Kafka/NATS/RabbitMQ) for efficient data processing. Define and maintain unit, integration, and load testing strategies to ensure reliability. Who You Are: 1+ years of experience in back-end development, with expertise in Go (Golang). Strong experience with GraphQL, gRPC, REST API design, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message brokers (Kafka/NATS/RabbitMQ). Experience in building real-time, event-driven systems. Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of caching strategies, load balancing, and distributed systems. A problem-solver who loves optimizing performance and scaling systems.
