Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary
Join a global industrial engineering business supplying market-leading compressed air and equipment solutions across the Netherlands from our Zoeterwoude office. As our Inside Sales Representative, you will support customers, prepare quotations, identify new business opportunities and help drive equipment, service and spare parts sales growth.
Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support
- Manage customer enquiries relating to equipment, service, and spare parts.
- Prepare and follow up quotations to maximize conversion rates.
- Support the complete sales process from enquiry to order receipt.
- Proactively identify opportunities for additional sales and service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Support external sales colleagues with commercial and administrative activities.
Business Development
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through telephone and digital prospecting.
- Follow up marketing campaigns and customer leads.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to identify future business opportunities.
- Assist in implementing commercial initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Commercial Administration
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Monitor open quotations and ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate internally with service, operations, and finance teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Support contract administration and order processing activities.
Reporting & Communication
- Track and report sales activity and key performance indicators.
- Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to management.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to business planning activities.
Basic Qualifications
- HBO-level education or equivalent experience, preferably within a technical or commercial discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in an internal sales, customer service, or commercial support role.
- Experience within industrial equipment, engineering, or compressed air markets is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.
Travel & Work Arrangements
- Primarily office-based in Zoeterwoude.
- Occasional customer visits and attendance at company events as required.
