About the role

The Quality Associate will responsible for ensuring compliance of health products and related processes across the supply and distribution chain in accordance with EU Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. The role will support quality and regulatory activities for Reckitt Benckiser ENA BV and RBNL Brands in the Netherlands, while contributing to a structured development programme towards Qualified Person (QP) and Responsible Person (RP) eligibility.
 

Your responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). 
  • Ensure compliance with EU GDP and GMP requirements, as well as MIA and WDA licence obligations.
  • Review, update, and manage SOPs, policies, quality documentation, and document control processes. 
  • Support batch release activities and quality compliance initiatives. 
  • Conduct supplier and customer qualifications and maintain due diligence processes.
  • Support audits, self-inspections, regulatory inspections, and the implementation of CAPAs. 
  • Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, complaints, and quality risks. 
  • Deliver GMP, GDP, and SOP-related training and maintain training records and matrices. 
  • Support product recall activities and outsourced quality-related operations. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, manufacturing sites, third parties, and regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Work on completing an in-house development program to become a Qualified Person and Responsible Person.

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. 
  • Experience in quality, compliance, regulatory, manufacturing, or a related healthcare function will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of EU GMP, EU GDP, WHO, PIC/S, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. 
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and electronic quality systems.
  • Knowledge of auditing practices, CAPA management, risk assessment, and data integrity principles (ALCOA++).
  • Experience supporting or participating in audits and inspections within regulated environments.
  • Expertise in strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving. 
  • Experience in working independently, managing multiple priorities, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are preferred.

Core Responsibilities

The Quality Associate ensures compliance with EU GDP and GMP requirements across the supply chain and supports the maintenance of the Quality Management System. They also manage documentation, conduct audits, investigate quality issues, and participate in a development program to become a Qualified or Responsible Person.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related life science discipline. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, quality management systems, and experience in a regulated healthcare environment are required.
