About IHC Mining
At IHC Mining, we develop (innovative) solutions and equipment across dry‑to‑wet mining, underwater remote mining, deep‑sea mining, and urban mining. Supporting customers throughout the entire mining cycle is a core part of our work — from early‑phase project evaluation studies, through engineering, delivery, and after‑sales support, all the way to mine closure. Within this global playing field, the needs of mining customers are translated into fully integrated solutions, achieved through close collaboration with colleagues in Brazil, South Africa, and Australia. We ensure that valuable minerals are recovered in a manner that aligns seamlessly with the environmental, operational, and economic requirements of each client. This includes minerals such as, but not limited to, mineral sands, silica sands, and alluvial and sedimentary deposits (gold, tin, diamond, potash, lithium) — including those that serve as key inputs for high‑value battery materials. In addition, we support tailings removal and re‑handling where secondary mineral recovery is required.
About IHC Mining
For every phase in the mining life cycle for raw materials, IHC Mining provides reliable, integrated solutions, fully tailored to specific demand for mineral resources. By means of the state-of-the-art equipment that we design and build – and the services we deliver – our customers can improve operational efficiency, lower the cost per tonne and make their activities more sustainable.
We have a proven track record in solutions for mineral sands, tailings rehabilitation, battery minerals, gold, diamonds, tin and other commodities. In addition, with our experts working on a global basis, we guarantee a local presence and industry leading support on every continent.
Core Responsibilities
You will design and model mechanical mining systems using 3D CAD software while performing technical calculations and material selection. Additionally, you will prepare technical documentation and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a higher professional education degree in mechanical engineering and possess 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Solid Edge and Teamcenter, along with excellent English and Dutch communication skills, is required.
