Help mee de datafundering van een missie-kritische omgeving neer te zetten.
Voor een van onze teams zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Databricks Engineer die niet alleen technologie begrijpt, maar ook in staat is om de brug te slaan tussen platformontwikkeling en klantbehoeften. Je helpt bij het opzetten van een modern dataplatform gebaseerd op Databricks en Azure, zodat de klant data veilig, betrouwbaar en schaalbaar kan inzetten voor nieuwe dataproducten en -inzichten. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met zowel engineers als stakeholders aan de klantzijde om te begrijpen wat er nodig is en hoe het platform daarop ingericht moet worden.
Deze rol omvat het zien van het grotere geheel, het richting geven en in staat zijn om mee te denken over hoe een data platform optimaal ingezet kan worden binnen een complexe omgeving.
Wat ga je doen?
- Opzetten, configureren en verder ontwikkelen van een Databricks-platform in Azure.
- Helpen bij het implementeren en landen van bestaande data platform services binnen een klantomgeving.
- Begrijpen welke dataproducten en use cases de klant wil realiseren en deze vertalen naar platformkeuzes.
- Adviseren over architectuur, inrichting, integraties en best practices.
- Meedenken over strategie rondom data, platformontwikkeling en schaalbaarheid.
- Bijdragen aan kennisopbouw rondom Databricks binnen Schuberg Philis.
Wat breng je mee?
- Ruime ervaring met Databricks.
- Ervaring met het ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van dataplatforms.
- Ervaring met Terraform.
- Aantoonbare kennis van Azure en de rol die Azure speelt rondom Databricks deployments.
- Begrip van data architectuur, integraties, dataproducten en platform engineering.
- Ervaring met het verbinden van verschillende databronnen en het ontsluiten van data voor meerdere stakeholders.
- Je begrijpt niet alleen hoe iets gebouwd moet worden, maar ook waarom en kunt stakeholders meenemen in keuzes en richting geven aan een datastrategie.

Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and developing a Databricks platform within an Azure environment. Additionally, you will advise on data architecture and translate customer needs into scalable data products and platform solutions.
Requirements
The role requires extensive experience with Databricks, Azure, and Terraform, along with a strong background in designing and managing data platforms. You must possess the ability to bridge the gap between technical platform development and stakeholder requirements.
