Job Description
MTD is op zoek naar een Data Engineer die technisch goed onderlegd is en het leuk vindt om met de business te overleggen over welke data nodig zijn en wat de requirements en prioriteiten zijn. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het modelleren, structureren en analyseren van financiële en operationele data, zodat de organisatie beter data gedreven kan werken.
Het is een brede rol, waarbij het zwaartepunt ligt op de technische kant (data pipelines, data modelling). Tegelijkertijd kun je met je analytische blik ook de brug slaan naar de business.
Je hebt een sterk analytisch vermogen, enkele jaren werkervaring met datamodellering en data-architectuur en affiniteit met statistiek en datavisualisatie.
Waar houd je je mee bezig
Data Engineering
Ontwerpen, bouwen en onderhouden van data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Optimaliseren van data-architectuur en performance
Ontwikkelen en beheren van datawarehousingoplossingen
Waarborgen van datakwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en consistentie
Automatiseren van datastromen en processen
Integreren van data uit verschillende bronnen (API’s, databases, bestanden)
Analyse
Analyseren van datasets ter ondersteuning van businessvraagstukken
Vertalen van businessbehoeften naar dataoplossingen
Wat breng je mee
Je hebt in ieder geval HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau (bijvoorbeeld Informatica of Data Science) en kennis van SQL.
Op technisch vlak heb je gewerkt met Python, ETL-tools (zoals Azure Data Factory, Airflow, dbt), datawarehousing, Microsoft Power Platform en het Azure-cloudplatform.
We zoeken iemand die communicatief sterk, proactief en oplossingsgericht is, en daarnaast zelfstandig, zelfredzaam, nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht werkt.
Heb je daarnaast ook kennis van data governance en security, en interesse in big data en de ontwikkeling van AI-agents, dan is dat een pré.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines while optimizing data architecture and warehousing solutions. Additionally, you will analyze datasets to support business needs and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science or Data Science, along with professional experience in data modeling and architecture. Proficiency in SQL and experience with tools such as Python, ETL frameworks, and the Azure cloud platform are required.
