Job Description
Welcome to Wilde, a thriving, exciting and rapidly expanding aparthotel operator, making waves across the heart of Europe! With an impressive track record of multiple new aparthotels opening each year, we’re on an unstoppable journey, with exceptional properties across iconic European cities like London, Berlin, Edinburgh, Lisbon and Vienna, and soon to be Amsterdam!
We are on the search for our next Sales Manager at Wilde Amsterdam, but this is not a traditional room sales role – we would love someone who can build a market, a network and a community around our beautiful, soon to be open, long stay property. We are looking for someone who wants to shape this role into something unique, shape the lifestyle community/living in Amsterdam, and be part of Europe’s fastest growing Aparthotel business. Driving relocation and extended stay partnerships, and community building will be at the very heart of this role, along with creative commercial activation.
Benefits:
Bonus scheme that rewards high performers;- based on our core values and tied to individual property goals
Flexible working patterns
Discounted rates for overnight stays for you, and your family and friends
Refer and earn scheme- earn up to £/€550
Education Support to help you foster new skills
Volunteer days: 2 paid volunteer days per year
Support for you and your family when you need it with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
We would love you to have:
Hospitality sales experience is naturally helpful, but experience within serviced apartments, relocation, global mobility or extended stay would be even more relevant. (Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience)
Local market knowledge is required, ideally within Corporate Long Stay, Global Mobility, Project Business, Crews and other long stay segments. Around 60% of the commercial focus will be Relocation / Extended Stay, with the remainder being Corporate Long Stay, Global Mobility, Projects, Crews and Groups.
Experience with new business generation and retention
Fluency in English is non-negotiable, Dutch or German language skills are desirable but not a requirement
Strong experience of working within the Dutch market and an understanding of the local culture and business environment in Amsterdam is non negotiable
A fiercely proactive and can-do attitude, a self-starter, someone who unblocks problems, creates opportunity, and who has a very positive and forward-thinking creative mindset.
· Comfortable working in a pre-opening environment - someone who enjoys creating structure, testing ideas and building something from the ground up rather than taking over an established portfolio.
A willingness to travel as and when needed
What you can do for us:
Community building will be central to the role. You will establish Wilde Amsterdam as a local hub by creating events and partnerships that bring relevant networks together, from wellness and mindset sessions to social events, and whatever else sparks curiosity and community interest!
Own local demand generation, account strategy, site inspections, and contracts
Build a strong long-stay pipeline, and develop strong relevant relocation and mobility relationships in Amsterdam
Meeting and speaking with new clients, securing and managing new accounts by building and maintaining very professional, trusted working relationships.
Actively and dynamically promote the Wilde brand through sales and marketing activity
· Work with CRM and sales tools to maintain visibility of pipeline, relationships and forward steps.
