We are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion within the Manufacturing sectors. In this high-impact role, you will act as a strategic advisor, driving complex, cloud-driven business deals and positioning TCS as the digital transformation partner of choice. Tata Consultancy Services is expanding its business in the Netherlands and is looking for a Business Development Manager for Manufacturing to accelerate our growth across the Dutch market. In this high-impact role, you will identify and develop transformation opportunities and lead complex sales engagements from initial conversation through contract signature. You will combine manufacturing industry knowledge, executive relationship-building, and consultative selling to position TCS as a strategic transformation partner. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities, solving complex client challenges, and converting ambition into measurable business growth. Your Role You will take end-to-end ownership of new business development within the Dutch manufacturing market. Working with TCS industry specialists, technology experts, delivery teams, partners, and commercial functions, you will develop propositions that address clients’ most important strategic and operational priorities. You will: Drive strategic growth: Develop and execute a focused go-to-market plan for the manufacturing sector in the Netherlands. Deliver sustainable growth across revenue, pipeline, forecasting, and new-client acquisition. Build trusted executive relationships: Develop credible, long-term relationships with C-level executives across manufacturing organizations. Position TCS as a trusted partner capable of bringing together industry knowledge, technology expertise, and global delivery capabilities Shape transformation opportunities: Work with clients to identify how AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and enterprise transformation can create business & IT value. Lead complex sales engagements: Own the complete sales lifecycle, from white-space identification and opportunity qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract signature. Essential experience and capabilities At least 10 years of experience in new business development, preferably within a major IT services provider, system integrator, technology consultancy, or professional services organization. At least three years of relevant commercial experience in manufacturing sector in the Netherlands. A proven track record of creating new opportunities, building substantial sales pipelines, and closing complex technology or transformation engagements. Good understanding of how AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, digital engineering, SaaS, and enterprise platforms can support manufacturing transformation. An established network of senior executives and decision-makers within the Dutch manufacturing market. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or HBO degree in business, engineering, computer science, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Full professional fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Ready to Build What Comes Next? Core Responsibilities

The role involves driving strategic growth and new business development within the Dutch manufacturing sector by identifying transformation opportunities. The manager will lead complex sales engagements from initial qualification through to contract signature while building trusted C-level relationships.

Requirements

Candidates need at least 10 years of business development experience, including 3 years specifically within the Dutch manufacturing sector. A degree in business, engineering, or computer science and full professional fluency in both Dutch and English are required.
