Job Description

Klarna, briefly

At Klarna, we're building an everyday finance network, helping over 120 million consumers across 26 countries save time and money, and worry less about their finances. Working here means taking on problems most companies never get to solve, and being hands-on enough that the interesting part of the work lands with you, not someone else — you'll build with AI, not watch it happen.

This is the stretch zone. Come find out what you're capable of.

About the role

You will be part of one of Klarna's Partner Success Teams, focusing on growing and maximizing value from an existing book of business across the Dutch market. You will support the building and execution of joint business plans with strategic partners, identifying expansion opportunities and driving increased adoption of Klarna's products and services. By working closely with internal teams across analytics, marketing, delivery, and product, you will help translate data into clear actions that unlock partner growth. You will support senior stakeholder relationships, including C-level executives, and contribute to consistent engagement, alignment on priorities, and measurable commercial outcomes. In a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will execute with pace and clarity, helping partners and Klarna achieve sustainable growth together.

What you'll do

  • You'll build and execute joint business plans with strategic partners across the Dutch market.

  • You'll identify expansion opportunities within Klarna's existing partner accounts and turn them into concrete growth initiatives.

  • You'll drive increased adoption of Klarna's products and services across your partner portfolio.

  • You'll work with analytics, marketing, delivery, and product teams to turn partner data into clear, actionable next steps.

  • You'll manage relationships with senior partner stakeholders, including C-level executives, to align on priorities and track measurable commercial outcomes.

Who you are

  • You've spent 2–4 years in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales.

  • You've managed an existing portfolio of strategic accounts and grown revenue within it.

  • You've worked in retail, payments, fintech, or e-commerce.

  • You can engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

  • You manage multiple priorities at once without letting things slip.

  • You read partner data and turn it into a specific next step, not just a summary.

  • You have working proficiency in verbal and written Dutch and English.

Bonus points for

  • You've used AI tools in sales work — LLM-based tools, vibe coding tools, or Cursor.

  • You're comfortable in Excel beyond the basics, including pivot tables and reading P&L accounts.

Things you should know before applying

  • Working together: we value co-located teams; most teams currently meet in the office 2–3 days per week, and this varies by team and can change over time.

  • Non-obvious backgrounds are welcome. Diversity of skills, perspectives and backgrounds is how we create, innovate, and disrupt like no other.

  • Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

Please include a CV in English. Concrete beats comprehensive — what you built, what it did, what it cost.
