Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? At GXO Logistics, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Controller to join our team in Schiphol, supporting a leading technology customer. In this role, you will oversee financial activities at our brand-new site, work closely with Site Managers and international stakeholders across multiple countries, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

How you'll make an impact

  • Acting as a finance business partner, advising site leadership and managers on financial and controlling matters while collaborating with cross-functional international teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.
  • Supporting project management activities, including tracking project spend against budget, monitoring cost performance, and assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new project requirements.
  • Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures, managing the full P&L, and overseeing local accounting functions.
  • Leading the budgeting process as well as weekly and monthly forecasting, taking corrective actions when required.
  • Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing them with site managers and customers.

 

What you'll bring to GXO

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in business controlling.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience within a 3PL or logistics environment would be considered a strong advantage.
