What will you do?

As Tech Lead Cloud & Hosting, you will provide technical direction for one of the most important parts of Sligro’s digital foundation. Together with the Product Owner Cloud & Hosting, you will work on the vision, roadmap and continued development of our cloud and hosting environment.

You will help ensure a stable, secure and scalable infrastructure that our logistics processes, delivery services and self-service stores rely on every day. You translate strategic plans into smart technical solutions and encourage the use of modern technologies such as Infrastructure as Code, containerization and cloud platforms.

You act as a sparring partner for architects and colleagues, and help the team grow in knowledge, collaboration and technical quality.

 

Your responsibilities

You will take technical ownership of the Cloud & Hosting domain and safeguard the quality, performance, security and future readiness of the environment.

You are the Product Owner’s technical sounding board and act as a sparring partner for architects and the Change Advisory Board. You translate the roadmap into concrete improvements and guide projects from design through to implementation.

In addition, you support the further modernization of our hybrid infrastructure, where on-premise data centers, remote housing and cloud services come together. You encourage a DevOps way of working, help teams take ownership of their solutions and ensure the efficient use of compute, storage and network capabilities across the organization.

What do you bring to the table?

You have extensive experience in complex infrastructure and cloud environments and feel at home in both on-premise and cloud platforms. You have knowledge of Windows and Linux environments and experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP.

You also have a strong understanding of technologies such as virtualization, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, networking and storage. You have an affinity with hybrid infrastructures and understand how public cloud platforms interact with our HCI Nutanix environment across two data centers.

You know how to translate technical challenges into practical solutions and can bring different stakeholders along in your vision. You combine a pragmatic approach with a long-term perspective and enjoy coaching colleagues, sharing knowledge and achieving results together.
