Job Description

The Retail Assistant works in a team and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience. The Retail Assistant’s role includes efficiently processing customer transactions, merchandising shelves and pricing products accordingly and maintaining store appearance.

Requirements

Has an interest in health and wellness.
• Minimum VSBO-TKL or equivalent.
• Must be able to work at and travel to all locations (Caracasbaaiweg and F.D. Rooseveltweg).
• Is representative.
• Has good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Is customer-oriented, helpful, and polite.
• Has a friendly and engaging personality.
• Is reliable and trustworthy.
• Has good listening skills.
• Has basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Is physically able to stand for extended periods, and lift and carry merchandise.
• Can work independently.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Is flexible.
• Has ample knowledge of offered products & services.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficient in Papiamento, Dutch, Spanish, and English.

Core Responsibilities

The Retail Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing daily store operations. This includes processing transactions, merchandising shelves, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of a VSBO-TKL education and an interest in health and wellness. Proficiency in multiple languages and the ability to work physically at various store locations are required.
