Job Summary

Working as a member of the global Infor CoE team (Center of Excellence), you are supporting and driving best practice usage of the ERP and ERP related solutions across our Civil and Defense Business Lines.  While initial focus will be within the Netherlands, support and engagement across our global sites will also be included.
We are in the process of transforming the Baan ERP software into the latest version of Infor LN across our GKN Fokker business, and this is an exciting time to join the team, as we strive for standardized ways of working across our Aerospace and Defense business.  

What you will do

As the Technical Application Specialist, you will combine technical expertise with business process knowledge to ensure our ERP environment delivers maximum value to the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
•    ERP LN implementation support
•    Tests and verifies system functionality within new and existing systems and solutions.
•    Works alongside the other global IT functions (including IT operations, security, project management and IT business partners)
•    Ensures the business is aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practices
•    Patching/updating systems
•    Installing certificates and other server management
•    Controlling and supporting the change request process
•    Business support; incident management, training, discussions, etc.
•    Supporting / supervising projects including work with external parties
•    Keep up to date with professional knowledge
•    Optimize business processes with latest technology
•    Providing expert support to business users, including incident resolution, user guidance and training.
•    Participating in and leading ERP-related projects with internal stakeholders and external partners.
•    Continuously identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology and automation.
•    Staying current with the latest Infor technologies and industry developments.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and working in an international environment.
Required:
•    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
•    Minimum 4 years of experience in ERP applications, implementation, or application support.
•    Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Infor LN.
•    Technical knowledge of Infor OS and Local Runtime Environment (LTR).
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and teamwork.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least 4 years of experience in ERP applications or support. Strong hands-on knowledge of Infor LN and Infor OS is required, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.
