Job Description

A leading private hospital's Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Unit in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to support elite athletes, executives, and UHNW patients through injury recovery and performance optimisation. The unit is built to Western clinical standards, with full autonomy over treatment planning and close collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, and strength and conditioning specialists.

This is a precision-led role: patients here expect world-class outcomes and discretion in equal measure. You will manage a curated caseload with the time and resources to deliver genuinely individualised care, supported by an unconstrained equipment and consumables budget. The position offers a clear route into regional clinical leadership as part of Medical Staff Talent's growing Saudi Arabia hospital network.

Requirements

BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy from an accredited Western institution, with active registration in your home jurisdiction.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally including sports medicine, orthopaedic rehabilitation, or elite athlete caseloads.

Candidate must be a national of, and trained in, a Tier-1 or Tier-2 jurisdiction: UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, or Andorra.

Fluent English required; sports rehabilitation or strength and conditioning certifications a strong advantage. MOH licensure and Dataflow verification processed by Medical Staff Talent's in-house team ahead of relocation.

Benefits

Tax-free liquid package of £78,000–£118,000 per annum, benchmarked against the hospital's top-tier allied health bands.

Fully furnished accommodation, private medical insurance, and an annual home flight allowance.

Visa sponsorship, relocation support, and end-to-end MOH licensure and Dataflow processing handled by our in-house team.

Dedicated access to the unit's sports rehabilitation equipment, isokinetic testing suite, and a continuing professional development budget.

Structured progression pathway into senior physiotherapy and clinical leadership roles across our Saudi Arabia hospital network.

About Medical Staff Talent

Industry: Hospitals and Health Care

Company size: 2-10 employees

Medical Staff Talent builds permanent, high-performing clinical teams for the Gulf private health sector. We recruit Western-trained Doctors, Physiotherapists and Nurses for Hospitals, Clinics, Royal Households and UHNW families in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Doha. Our work is not transactional recruitment; it is clinical architecture—designing stable teams, predictable pathways and leadership that makes talent stay. We specialise in permanent placements only. Every search starts with structure: role clarity, clinical standards, onboarding and culture. We assess clinical excellence and cultural alignment in equal measure, because culture fit is not optional—it is critical. We help clients engineer the first 60–90 days so new hires integrate quickly, protect continuity of care, and elevate UHNWI patient experience. Our network prioritises Western-trained clinicians (EU/UK/US/CAN/AUS/NZ) with the judgement, poise and discretion required in premium environments. We support licensing, relocation and family logistics, and operate with strict confidentiality for principals and private offices. We don’t rotate staff; we build teams that last. Impact: 82% of placements remain beyond 18 months—well above the regional average. A client reduced turnover by 40% after adopting a culture-led hiring model we designed. When leadership is visible and onboarding is real, retention follows, and stability becomes a brand. For clients: align clinical strategy with the talent market, then attract the right people with culture, not slogans. For talent: expect a small number of permanent roles with elite clients—no mass lists, no noise—so you can choose environments where your standards are matched.
