Damen Marine Components (DMC) ontwikkelt en produceert hoogwaardige systemen voor de voortstuwing, besturing en manoeuvreerbaarheid van schepen. Denk aan straalbuizen, lieren, bedieningssystemen en stuur- en roersystemen. Onze producten worden wereldwijd toegepast in onder andere de binnenvaart, offshore, zeevaart, marine en superjachtbouw.
Naast nieuwbouw levert DMC ook service en ondersteuning via een internationaal 24/7 servicenetwerk. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat de installaties van onze klanten betrouwbaar blijven presteren. DMC is onderdeel van de Damen Shipyards Group.
De functie
Als Werkvoorbereider zorg jij dat productie en service goed voorbereid aan de slag kunnen. Je vertaalt technische tekeningen en schema’s naar duidelijke stuklijsten, controleert of alles compleet is en zorgt dat materialen, onderdelen en documentatie op tijd beschikbaar zijn. Daarmee voorkom je vertraging en help je collega’s in de uitvoering om hun werk goed en efficiënt te doen.
Je bent de schakel tussen Engineering, Productie, Service, Warehouse, QA/QC en Planning. Je kijkt niet alleen naar wat er technisch nodig is, maar ook naar wat praktisch werkt op de werkvloer. Voor serviceklussen zorg je dat alles klaarstaat voor de Field Service Engineers. Bij eerste productie of wijzigingen leg je verbeteringen vast in de as-built revisie, zodat fouten niet terugkomen en processen steeds beter worden.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Omzetten van technische tekeningen en schema’s naar complete stuklijsten en werkvoorbereidingsinformatie.
- Zorgen dat materialen, onderdelen, documentatie en hulpmiddelen tijdig beschikbaar zijn voor productie en service.
- Afstemmen met Engineering, Productie, Service, Warehouse, QA/QC en Planning om het werk soepel te laten verlopen.
- Bewaken van project- en magazijnvoorraden en tijdig signaleren van knelpunten of afwijkingen.
- Plannen, prioriteren en structureren van je eigen werkzaamheden binnen projectdeadlines.
- Meedenken over technische oplossingen en praktische verbeteringen in het proces.
- Vergelijken van de commerciële voorcalculatie met de gerealiseerde werkvoorbereiding.
Kennis en ervaring
- MBO 4 werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in een technische richting of verkregen door relevante werkervaring.
- Ervaring met werkvoorbereiding, productievoorbereiding of een vergelijkbare technische functie is een pré.
- Je kunt technische tekeningen en schema’s lezen en vertalen naar praktische acties.
- Je hebt algemene kennis van technische systemen. Kennis van hydrauliek, elektrische systemen en mechanische systemen is mooi meegenomen.
- Maritieme vakkennis en/of een NEVI MIL-opleiding is een pré.
- Je werkt gestructureerd, houdt overzicht en schakelt makkelijk met verschillende afdelingen.
- Je communiceert helder in het Nederlands en Engels. Duits en/of Frans is een pluspunt.

Core Responsibilities
Translate technical drawings and schemas into clear bills of materials and ensure all parts and documentation are available for production and service. Act as the primary link between Engineering, Production, Service, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Planning to prevent delays.
Requirements
Requires an MBO 4 technical level of thinking and working, with the ability to read technical drawings and a general knowledge of technical systems. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required, while experience in the maritime sector or hydraulics is a plus.
