What You Can Expect:
- Laden en lossen van schepen volgens veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen
- Aan- en afhoeken van ladingen
- Verplaatsen van lading en containers met terminalequipment
- Uitvoeren van controlewerkzaamheden en registreren van schades
- Schoonhouden van het werkterrein en correct afvalbeheer
- Toezien op correct gebruik van PBM’s en veilig gedrag van collega’s en derden
- Adviseren van leidinggevende over kwaliteit, verbeteringen en duurzame oplossingen
- Melden van onregelmatigheden, milieudelicten en onveilige situaties; bevoegdheid om werkzaamheden te stoppen bij direct gevaar
- Naleving van Arbowet, milieuvoorschriften, havenveiligheidsregels en duurzaamheidsrichtlijnen
What You Bring:
- MBO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur opleiding STC Havenoperaties
- Ervaring op een haventerminal
- Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal
- In het bezit van relevante certificaten (heftruck, reachstacker, etc.)
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for loading and unloading ships and moving containers using terminal equipment according to safety and quality standards. Duties include monitoring safety behavior, reporting irregularities, and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements
Requires an MBO level of thinking and working, preferably with STC Port Operations training and experience at a port terminal. Must possess relevant certifications for forklifts and reachstackers and be proficient in Dutch.
