Job Description

Are you an experienced AFAS Application Administrator who thrives on optimizing business processes and supporting users? If so, we are looking for you!

As an AFAS Application Administrator, you are responsible for managing, configuring, and further developing our AFAS environment. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to improve processes, expand functionalities, and provide optimal user support.

Your responsibilities

•            Managing, maintaining, and optimizing the AFAS Profit environment.

•            Configuring workflows, authorizations, alerts, and processes.

•            Functional management of HRM, Payroll, Finance, and/or Projects modules.

•            Translating business requirements into AFAS solutions.

•            Supporting and advising end-users.

•            Resolving incidents and analyzing bottlenecks.

•            Conducting tests for changes and new releases.

•            Drafting manuals and providing user training/instructions.

•            Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Requirements

•            Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking.

•            At least 2 years of experience as an AFAS Application Administrator or Functional Administrator.

•            Demonstrable knowledge of AFAS Profit.

•            Experience with process optimization and user support.

•            Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred

•            Experience with AFAS HRM, Payroll, and/or Finance modules.

•            Knowledge of SQL, data migrations, and reporting.

•            Experience within a complex or growing organization.

•            AFAS certifications.

  • A one year contract with the intention of extension
  • Salary according to the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Hospitals as of February 2026

Manage, configure, and optimize the AFAS Profit environment, focusing on HRM, Payroll, and Finance modules. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide comprehensive support and training to end-users.

Requirements

Requires a higher professional education (HBO) level and at least 2 years of experience as an AFAS Application or Functional Administrator. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of AFAS Profit and experience in process optimization.
