Bij Damen Compact Crafts in Gorinchem, een innovatieve dochteronderneming van Damen Shipyards, werk je samen met een team van circa 30 collega’s aan het ontwerpen en bouwen van compacte, duurzame werkboten van kunststof. Denk aan:
- Patrouilleboten;
- Havenschepen;
- Offshore ondersteuningsvaartuigen.

De rol
Als Outfitter binnen Damen Compact Craft ben je verantwoordelijk voor het professioneel monteren en installeren van diverse systemen en componenten in onze HDPE boten. Je werkt nauw samen met het engineeringteam en andere collega's om ervoor te zorgen dat de boten worden voorzien van hoogwaardige inbouwoplossingen.
Je taken en verantwoordelijkheden
Als Outfitter zul je je week gaan invullen met de volgende taken en werkzaamheden:
Monteren en installeren van elektrische systemen, zoals verlichting, navigatieapparatuur, en communicatiesystemen.
Inbouwen van motoren, inclusief het aansluiten van de bekabeling en brandstofsystemen.
Plaatsen van interieur- en exterieurcomponenten, zoals stoelen, opbergvakken en railing.
Uitvoeren van inspecties en testen om ervoor te zorgen dat de inbouw voldoet aan de gestelde kwaliteitsnormen.
Rapporteren van eventuele afwijkingen of technische problemen aan het engineeringteam.
Werken volgens de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften en zorgen voor een schone en opgeruimde werkplek.
Wij zoeken
Kennis op het niveau MBO3/4 (werktuigbouw)
In het bezit van een certificaat veilig hijsen en heftruck rijden.
Je bent in staat om technische tekeningen te lezen
Je bent kwaliteitsbewust en draagt zorg voor orde, netheid en veiligheid;
Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.
Wat bieden we jou?
Voor deze functie ligt het salaris tussen de €3000 bruto en €4200 bruto per maand (op basis van fulltime dienstverband), exclusief vakantiegeld. De exacte inschaling bepalen we op basis van jouw kennis en ervaring. Deze functie valt onder de Metalektro CAO.
Verder krijg je 27 vakantiedagen en 13 ADV dagen (bij een fulltime dienstverband), vakantiegeld, reiskostenvergoeding (23 ct / km) en een goede pensioenregeling

Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the professional assembly and installation of electrical systems, engines, and interior/exterior components in HDPE boats. This includes performing quality inspections and reporting technical deviations to the engineering team.
Requirements
Requires MBO3/4 level knowledge in mechanical engineering and the ability to read technical drawings. Candidates must hold certificates for safe lifting and forklift operation, and be proficient in Dutch and English.
