Job Description

Veco is a world-leading manufacturer of micro- precision parts. It serves the world’s most innovative, hi-tech companies from industries that demand high quality and precision.

To meet customers’ specifications and demands, Veco has developed high standards of performance in Electroforming. This technology allows a powerful combination of precision and economical production; for high volumes and prototypes, standard and custom-made products.

Our technological capabilities have consistently delivered micro-precision parts to leading companies across a wide range of industries across the globe.

Process Engineer

We are currently looking for a new colleague who truly wants to make a difference in implementing new electroforming technologies within our production environment. In this role, you are at the heart of innovation: You take on a hands-on role in projects, develop smart experimental setups, analyze results, and translate technological trends into concrete opportunities. You ensure that new processes are not only developed, but also smoothly and successfully embedded across the organization.

Are you energized by progress, technical challenges, and delivering solutions that really work in production?

Then this is your moment to make an impact and help build the future of our organization!

Objective

The industrialization of production processes within the Global Forming Group, specifically in the field of electrodeposition.

Process Engineer

Drive the industrialization of electroforming (electrodeposition) technologies within our production environment. In this hands-on role, you design and execute experiments, analyze results, and translate innovations into robust, scalable processes. You ensure successful implementation and integration of new technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support technology development and implementation projects

  • Design experimental setups, analyze data, and define follow-up actions

  • Ensure process stability, capability, and cost-efficient production scaling

  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, and escalate risks where needed

  • Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (suppliers, universities, institutes)

  • Enable smooth transfer of new technologies to operations

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)

  • ~3+ years’ experience in industrial process/technology development

  • Strong hands-on, analytical, and project management skills

  • Experience with innovation implementation in production environments

  • Knowledge of electrodeposition (preferred)

  • Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)

Core Responsibilities

Drive the industrialization of electroforming technologies by designing and executing experiments to create robust, scalable production processes. Lead technology implementation projects and ensure the smooth transfer of new innovations into operations.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, with over 3 years of experience in industrial process development. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and knowledge of electrodeposition and data analysis tools like Minitab.
