Job Description
Are you a native Dutch speaker who loves capturing moments, exploring new technologies, or simply dreaming of a major lifestyle upgrade? If you’re ready to trade gray skies and cold rain for 300+ days of Mediterranean sunshine, beautiful beaches, and a thriving international social scene, this is your ultimate call to adventure!
We are looking for enthusiastic, tech-friendly young professionals to join our dynamic team in Greece representing Canon—the world-famous, legendary Japanese pioneer in photography, cameras, and imaging technology. In this role, you will be the helpful voice and friendly text behind Canon's consumer world, helping photography fans and everyday users get the most out of their gear.
No advanced technical background? Don't worry about it! We offer fully paid, expert training to get you up to speed. All you need is a passion for helping people, a positive attitude, and a desire to live life to the fullest in beautiful Greece!
What You'll Do Every Day- Be the Guide: Connect with Dutch-speaking consumers via inbound phone calls, emails, and live chats to assist with product inquiries, order updates, and basic setup questions.
- Problem Solve: Help users with fun scenarios like printer setup, installation, finding the perfect camera, or troubleshooting error codes.
- Go Multilingual (With a Twist): Focus on your native Dutch language, while occasionally utilizing clever translation tools to assist customers across written channels.
- Get Hands-On: Learn the ins and outs of both Customer Care and Technical Support, keeping your daily workflow fresh and interesting.
- Language Skills: Native or C1-level fluency in Dutch, plus a good working command of English (B2) for your training and systems.
- Tech Savvy: Good general PC knowledge, familiarity with Windows or Mac OS, and a steady typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
- Mindset: An open, customer-oriented personality with solid problem-solving vibes.
- Ready for Adventure: You are genuinely excited to pack your bags, experience a new culture, and join a massive international community.
We handle all the heavy lifting so you can smoothly transition into your new Greek lifestyle:
- Complete Relocation Package: Paid flight tickets to Greece, airport pickup, and dedicated assistance to help you secure a great apartment.
- Attractive Local Salary: A competitive salary with performance bonuses, plus 2 extra salaries per year (a full extra salary at Christmas, half at Easter, and half for your summer holidays!).
- Paid Expert Training: Fully paid training followed by a supportive 1-2 week "nesting" phase to build your confidence.
- Exclusive Project Perks: Take part in Canon's awesome Lending Program where you can actually borrow professional Canon cameras for the weekend to shoot your own adventures around Greece! Plus, enjoy regular team pizza days!
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy your weekends completely free to travel the Greek islands, as this project runs Monday to Friday only!
- Hybrid Flexibility: Once you are fully up and running, you'll enjoy a hybrid work-from-home model (working up to 70% from your home office, with just 5 days a month in the office).
- Health & Insurance: Full private health and medical benefits from day one.
Ready to swap the rainy days for a tan, borrow some world-class cameras, and build a standout resume? Hit apply now and let's get your journey to Greece started!
