Description
Discipline: Quantity Surveying/Cost Management
Location: Amsterdam (With Hybrid Working)
Key Responsibilities
- The candidate will be an integral part of a team that is accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project.
- To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
- To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
- Comply with established commercial/procurement/ contractual strategies.
- Take responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
- Cost Planning and estimating, post contract and procurement duties
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related technical discipline.
- Mechanical & Electrical and Cost Management experience.
- CSA Cost Management experience
- Data Centre experience
- Proven technical / project delivery experience. Previously employed by a consultancy, contractor, developer, or client-side organisation
- Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
- Recognised as a positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support. Recognised as a team player with a strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

The Cost Manager is responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of projects, ensuring value for money and compliance with procurement strategies. Key duties include cost planning, estimating, and managing post-contract and procurement activities.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related technical discipline with proven experience in M&E and CSA cost management. Specific experience in Data Centre projects and a background in consultancy, contracting, or client-side organizations are required.
