Job Description

Must-have qualifications: 

  • Minimum BSc degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field;
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience, which includes the management of direct reports;
  • Minimum of 10 years of supply chain related experience in a complex manufacturing environment. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Developing strategies, policies and procedures to optimize value and create a world class order management group;
  • Establishing goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives and managing performance to ensure attainment;
  • Mentoring, coaching, and contributing to the development of the leadership team on policies, procedures and best practices while promoting professional growth;
  • Guiding execution and cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain;
  • Stewards the culture through utilization of the World Wide Technology Integrated Management and Leadership tools and concepts;
  • Establishes long-term capability and resource planning to continue the evolution of teams;
  • The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands.
Qualifications

A Director of Regional Operations leads a team of Order Management, Procurement and Planning Leaders that are accountable for the successful development and execution of strategic operational objectives. Reporting to a senior leader within Global Order Operations, an individual in this role is responsible for developing strategies, policies and procedures that optimize value and create a world class order management organization. This person also takes overall accountability for operational excellence, customer delight and strategic thought leadership across all operational functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategies, policies and procedures to optimize value and create a world class order management group;
  • Establishes goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives and managing performance to ensure attainment;
  • Mentors, coaches, and contributes to the development of the leadership team on policies, procedures and best practices while promoting professional growth;
  • Guides execution and cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain;
  • Takes on overall accountability for operational excellence and customer delight;
  • Leading and driving strategic thought leadership across all functions;
  • Communicates clearly to drive expectations and instill consistency amongst the team;
  • Establishes long-term capability and resource planning to continue the evolution of teams;
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for better organizational alignment in communication, responsibility allocation, and structure;
  • Supports the department through the escalation process, driving critical issue resolution through collaboration with executive leadership internally and/or externally.

Core Responsibilities

The Director of Regional Operations leads teams in Order Management, Procurement, and Planning to execute strategic operational objectives. They are responsible for developing policies to optimize value, ensuring operational excellence, and driving strategic thought leadership across the supply chain.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. The role requires at least 10 years of supply chain experience in complex manufacturing and 7 years of leadership experience managing direct reports.
