Industrial Business Consultant
Bij PDM helpen we productiebedrijven richting Industrial Excellence. Niet met rapporten, maar met keuzes die werken in de praktijk. Als Industrial Business Consultant zorg jij dat die keuzes scherp, onderbouwd en verkoopbaar zijn.
Je bouwt technisch onderbouwde business cases en gebruikt die actief om klanten mee te nemen naar een besluit en een projectstart. Jij verbindt inhoud, waarde en besluitvorming.
Wat ga je doen?
Je opereert in de fase vóór projecten starten, daar waar het verschil wordt gemaakt.
Vertalen van technische en organisatorische klantvraagstukken naar business cases
Doorrekenen van scenario’s: impact, risico’s, investering, ROI en haalbaarheid
Actief gebruiken van de business case om keuzes en draagvlak te creëren
Presenteren en verdedigen van business cases bij klanten op senior niveau
Samenwerken met business leaders, projectmanagement en delivery teams
Ownership nemen van analyse tot besluit en implementatie

Je werkt in een complexe industriële context waarin vertrouwen, inhoud en rendement samenkomen. De uitdaging zit niet in het maken van de business case, maar in het overtuigend gebruiken ervan. Jij zorgt dat klanten doorpakken.

Inhoudelijke geloofwaardigheid in industrie/engineering/manufacturing
Analytisch sterk én commercieel denkend
Comfortabel in gesprekken met meerdere stakeholders

Ervaring met value engineering, investment cases of assessments
Affiniteit met operations, productie of technische implementaties

Core Responsibilities
The role focuses on translating technical and organizational client challenges into substantiated business cases to drive decision-making and project starts. You will calculate scenarios including ROI and risks, and present these cases to senior-level stakeholders to create buy-in.
Requirements
Candidates must have professional credibility in industry, engineering, or manufacturing, combined with strong analytical and commercial skills. Experience with value engineering, investment cases, and the ability to communicate persuasively with stakeholders is highly valued.
