Role Overview:
As a Junior HR, you will be responsible for the full scope of HR activities in the Netherlands, based in our Amsterdam office while visiting the stores. This is a standalone role, meaning you will independently manage day-to-day HR operations while working closely with international stakeholders in the US and Israel.
You will play a key role in setting up, structuring, and professionalizing HR processes locally, while also supporting future international expansion. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership early in your HR career within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle independently (onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding, salary exs.)
  • Set up, maintain, and improve HR administration, systems, and personnel files in line with GDPR requirements
  • Coordinate and execute recruitment processes end-to-end
  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee HR-related questions
  • Manage absence registration and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations
  • Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and templates where needed
  • Managing work visa applications and 30% ruling applications
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at the US and Israel head offices on HR-related matters
  • Support organizational growth and prepare HR processes for potential expansion into Germany and the UK
  • Initiate and support employee engagement and performance management processes

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (internships included)
  • Solid understanding of Dutch labour law
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills/Fluent in English and Dutch (required)
  • Comfortable working in an international environment and across different time zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems like Bamboo and Connecteam is a plus
