Your Mission
As an AV Technician, you are responsible for the hands-on execution of immersive AV installations. You translate technical drawings and instructions into precise on-site builds, ensuring systems are installed, configured, and prepared for commissioning exactly as designed.

You work closely with Technical Producers and AV Engineers, supporting the delivery of reliable and high-quality systems. Your focus is on execution - building, connecting, and preparing systems with accuracy and care, while flagging any issues or deviations that may impact delivery.

You take pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ensuring that every installation contributes to a seamless final experience.

Responsibilities:

Installation & Execution

• Install and mount AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, control systems, and racks.
• Run, route, terminate, and label cabling (power, data, AV).
• Connect and configure hardware according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare systems for commissioning and final testing.

Working from Design & Instructions

• Execute installations based on AV schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Follow direction from Technical Producers and AV Engineers.
• Build and install systems exactly as designed and approved.

Site Awareness & Quality

• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised installations.
• Identify and flag any inconsistencies, risks, or unexpected site conditions.
• Implement approved adjustments as directed.

Testing & Commissioning Support

• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Ensure installations are ready for commissioning and handover.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners on-site.
• Support overall project delivery through clear communication and teamwork.

Your profile

Must Have:

• Experience in AV installation, technical installation, or similar hands-on environments.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings (or willingness to learn).
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working on-site in dynamic, project-based environments.
• Team player with a proactive and reliable attitude.
• Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AV-over-IP systems.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience in immersive, exhibition, or experiential environments.
• Relevant technical certifications or training.
